Water System Rehab

The City of Slaton started this department in 1991. Its main goal was to replace every two-inch or smaller galvanized line in town with four-inch C 900 pipe or larger. To date, this department has replaced approximately 80% of all of the small lines in the City.

This department has also made numerous small extensions to our water and sewer system, including a three-mile water pipeline to our airport.

The Water System Rehab Department provides the following services:

• Replace and upgrade old water mains
• Expand water and sewer mains
