The City Secretary’s office is responsible for:

  • Prepare and Post City Commission Meeting Agendas
  • Attend all City Commission meetings and work sessions to record the minutes of such proceedings
  • Conduct General  and Special Municipal Elections
  • Processing all Public Information Request
  • Ordinance codification
  • Certifying and attesting to all official City documents
  • Receipt of official campaign contributions and expenditure reports from candidates and office holders as required by the Texas Ethics Commission
  • Official Notices
  • Acting as a liaison between the City and citizens
